Maxcess International needs to provide quarterly updates to employees in 10 countries (and 10 different languages) to effectively communicate financial updates, management updates, company news, Covid-19 safety protocol, and company vision & values. Each newsletter is about 8 pages long and between 2,000-2,500 words. Maxcess International partnered with EPIC Translations to successfully manage the newsletter translation plus design for timely distribution.
The Challenge
Maxcess International is a global brand operating 7 different industry-leading brands that provide quality end-to-end, unwind-to-rewind solutions. They operate across the manufacturing sector and have risen as an industry leader in rotary dies, web guiding & web inspection solutions, and slitting & winding solutions. As a global business, Maxcess International needs to provide quarterly updates to employees in 10 countries (and 10 different languages) to effectively communicate financial updates, management updates, company news, Covid-19 safety protocol, and company vision & values. Each newsletter is about 8 pages long and between 2,000-2,500 words.
Given the multinational environment of the company’s reach, it is critically important to keep global human resources on the same page and communications clear.
By partnering with EPIC Translations, Maxcess can translate and design the quarterly newsletter and distribute across their global locations.
The Solution
To ensure proper communication with their employees, Maxcess partnered with EPIC Translations to translate and design their quarterly newsletter in 10 languages:
The translation phase includes two to three translators per language to translate, edit, and proofread the newsletter copy. The translators are vetted and assigned to Maxcess based on industry expertise, prior translation experience, and education. Once the initial translation is complete, it’s integrated with the client’s English design file in Adobe Creative Suite to ensure proper layout of text and design elements.
The Results
Through our translation and design workflows, Maxcess International’s global human resources team can now consume the quarterly newsletter in their target language. And, despite the difference in languages, each of the newsletters looks exactly like the source newsletter file, so Maxcess’s global workforce is able to read the company newsletter in the same format and layout.
